The above event will be held at Morpeth County Hall on 14th February 2014 from 10am and everyone with an interest in Fisheries and the Marine Environment should find this of interest and will be welcome to attend. Numbers are limited so if you do intend to come along could please let us know either by email or please telephone the office and give us your name, a contact telephone number or email address and a few words about your area of interest.

The aim of the Workshop is to evaluate the Northumberland marine environment and consider management for the future under the various objectives of the Strategic Environmental Assessment including long term management of the fisheries as a vital part of the NIFCA remit. Your presence at the Workshop and contribution to this process will be extremely welcome.

Dr.Keiron Hyder CEFAS will be giving a presentation on the findings of the Sea Angling 2012 project at the forcoming quarterly meeting on 28th January at 2pm at County Hall, Morpeth.

Prohibition of the use of Mobile Fishing Gear within the English Section of the Berwickshire & North Northumberland Coast Special Area of Conservation (SAC).

The above byelaw came into force on 1 January 2014.
